The Wounded Beat (10th Anniversary Edition)

Lost Tribe Sound thumbnail
Lost Tribe Sound Simply stunning album of mellow indie tunes with just the right amount of dust and crystal clarity when needed, and the tastiest bass drums around. A good comparison might be like listening to Helios (Goldmund) with say Benoit Pioulard (Orcas) on vocals.

about

Originally released in 2011, The Wounded Beat was an extreme labor of love for Matt Herron and I. We were just getting by, working full-time, but dedicating every spare minute we had to making the best record of our lives. We had the immense pleasure of working with Keith Kenniff (Helios, Goldmund, Mint Julep) who added his trademark warmth, clarity and beauty to the production of the tracks. For the 10 year anniversary edition we've added two tracks recorded by Keith during these sessions that didn't make the final record. B-side "False Ribs" and a cover of Bonnie Raitt's "I Can't Make You Love Me". We hope the album continues to hold up and find new ears. Thank you for the support. - Kael
